Casual Introduction to Causal Inference

This project is a 15-minute asynchronous online lesson designed to introduce fundamental concepts in Causal Inference to undergraduate students with no prior coursework. Developed as a requirement for the GS750 course (fulfilling CCT requirements), the lesson focuses on:

  • Defining Causal Inference and distinguishing between correlation and causation.
  • Identifying the characteristics and importance of Randomized Experiments.
  • Executing a basic difference-in-means calculation to estimate treatment effects.
  • Employing best practices for skimmable, high-impact online content delivery.
